In case you have been living under a rock recently, Sudoku is a new puzzle that millions of people enjoy around the world.

Sudoku tests your logical skills, is available in various levels of difficulty and will get you hooked straight away!

How to play the game

The basic idea of the game is that you have a 9x9 grid with varying amounts of squares pre-filled with numbers. You then have to fill in the remaining squares with the numbers 1-9, however each row, column and sub-square (3x3) must only contain each number once.

There are also several variations including different sized grids, Sudoku X and Karuko

How can I play?

If you want to play, most newspapers have a daily puzzle or there are lots of Sudoku books and websites which also have many puzzles to choose from. Playing daily also exercises your brain, which can help keep it active.
